Today I’m throwing the door open to our cozy little townhouse home so you can have a holiday home tour!

Christmas Tree Decorations

(Disclosure: This post contains some affiliate links for your shopping convenience.)

A Christmas tree seems to be one of the most important parts of Christmas decorating, so I thought I’d start with that. I just love our wee little fake tree (similar to this faux tree) for our small space. It’s quick and easy to set it up, and this year we decorated it with “natural decorations” of dried orange slices and gingerbread cookies.

They were fun to make, and I included them both in other places around the house – like in the Christmas centerpiece for the dining room table.

Christmas Dining Room Decor

The dining room farmhouse shelves are one of my favorite things to change out for the different seasons. All the decor on these shelves are neutral “Winter” decor, and I just added some gingerbread cookie ornaments along with pine cones, and faux greenery.

I love setting the table with layers of items for a fun Christmas table look. I’ve linked below some similar options of items that are on the table above:

Christmas Living Room Decor

Our Living and Dining Room are actually just one big room, but I like to arrange them to feel a little different. Flannel pillow covers and a christmas tree pillow that I made a few years ago add a little pop of Christmas color to the space.

I switched out the vintage art above the couch for a new vintage art print perfect for Winter. (More details coming on that soon.)

Christmas Bookcase Decor

We love our billy bookcase “built ins” in our living room, and I added some Christmas and Winter touches to them, too.

The vintage angels were my Grandma’s, and the set of 3 Christmas mice were my mom’s. I just love having reminders of them around.

(And, bonus point for those of you who notice the rouge pen and book in the pictures! tee hee…)

I also pulled out last year’s macramae wall hanging wreath to add to the dining room decor.

And, that ends the little Christmas home tour at our house. Thank you for stopping by!

  1. We downsized from a home I loved to a plain bungalow. I came to specifically see a home that was a downsized home for some ideas on making it special. Its long past Christmas here but you convinced me its about attitude and remembering to be grateful. Love this post.
