When I was looking for Christmas decor ideas, I stumbled on to some Scandinavian Christmas pictures.
I was smitten.
Since we live in a small townhouse, I wanted to find Christmas decor ideas that were simple and cozy. I also didn’t want to have to buy a bunch more stuff that would be difficult to find storage room for!
Scandinavian Christmas decor with its hygge style clicked all my required boxes for this year.

Natural elements like woven baskets and wood are found in simple Scandi decor. By using brown craft paper rolls (or brown grocery bags?) and a little greenery for a simple gift wrapping idea, it adds to the simple and relaxed feeling of home.
