Christmas shopping will be a breeze with these ideas for Christmas gifts for men!
After being married for 31 years and having 3 boys, you’d think I’d be a pro at gift shopping for men.
But, alas, I still find it a challenge! Do you?
So, I questioned my husband and all 3 young adult sons and asked for their recommendations. The following gift ideas for men are thanks to them!
Top Christmas Gifts: Ideas for Men in 2020
Disclosure: I am an Amazon Affiliate, and as such will receive a small commission on products bought after clicking on my links – at no extra cost to the consumer. (Please note, the items will not always appear exactly as pictured.)
All of my men have their own unique interests and hobbies, and their gift list ideas reflect that. However, this first item on the list could apply to ALL men.
1. Give the gift of Amazon Prime!
If the man in your life doesn’t yet have Amazon Prime, that might be the best place to start. He just might enjoy doing his own shopping around when he knows the shipping can be free – plus additional perks can include Amazon Music and Amazon Movies!
Gifts for the Mountain Biker
My husband is a mountain biker, so his first hearty recommendations are all mountain biking related.
This handy dandy system is a way to lock your cell phone into a specific place to keep it safe. My husband got the quad lock case and the out front mountain bike mount. He has found it keeps his phone steady and safe while he rides rough and bumpy trails. And, I rest easier at home when his cell phone tracker tells me exactly where he is in case he runs into trouble!;)
3. Water hydration backpack system
Nothing is worse than being out on the trail and getting thirsty! These handy dandy water backpack systems work great!
4. OneUp Pedals
My husband was so excited to get shiny new pedals for his bike. He just loves his new OneUp Pedals. They come in all kinds of groovy colors! (He chose purple.)
4. Fork Fender
Although this might not look like much, a fork fender is a handy dandy gadget (that would make a great stocking stuffer!). It prevents mud from getting on expensive bike forks.
5. Mountain Bike Baggy Shorts
There are a kazillion different styles of mountain bike shorts. My husband (and I!) prefers the baggy variety with a removable padded liner.
4. Water Resistant Biking Pants
We live in rain country, so water resistant gear is an essential. Simple water resistant pants work well for both biking and hiking.
5. Mountain biking sunglasses
These are on my husband’s actual Christmas list! A good pair of polarized sunglasses that wrap nicely around your eyes are great for biking and sports.
Gifts for the Cook & Griller Foodie/ Food Related Gifts for Men
My husband and sons enjoy cooking & grilling. Here are some of their favorite things.
6. Portable Grill
We have a small townhouse patio deck, and this Coleman portable grill works like a charm! We use it all Summer long, and when it gets rainy & blustery, it’s easy to pack it up and take it to the garage. It’s also small enough that it would be wonderful for overnight camping trips.
7. Red Copper Non Stick Frying Pan
After going through all kinds of non stick frying pans, we finally landed on the Red Copper Frying Pan, and it has been great for a few years now. It cooks up great turkey bacon & eggs in the morning! (And, yes, my husband cooks them…)
8. Yeti Water Bottle
I know a water bottle doesn’t sound very exciting, but these Yeti Water Bottles are all the rage this year. Even my sons rave about them. They come with an amazing warranty, and keep your beverage super hot or cold – whichever you want to pack along!
9. Traeger Grill
I admit, I don’t personally have any experience with a Traeger Grill, but I’ve watched Instagram friends whose husbands LOVE them! It looks like a super interesting grill system – complete with all kinds of spices for meat, too. I was mentioning this to my husband, and he informed me that our oldest son has one of these and LOVES it! He’s a hunter and loves experimenting with all kinds of smoked meats.
10. Immersion Blender
And this year, my husband requested a new 12 inch copper pan for frying our morning eggs in. We have the smaller version, but he’s ready for an upgrade!
Stocking Stuffer Ideas for Men
What are some smaller items that you can tuck into the Christmas morning stocking that would be appropriate for men? We’ve put on our thinking caps – and came up with these:
11. After Shave lotion
Oh, do I ever love a man who smells good!;) This after shave lotion smells amazing. My husband has tried different brands, but always goes back to this one.
12. Outdoor Thermometer
In our house, my husband is our family weather man. I can always count on him to know what the weather forecast is for the next few days! He also loves to check our own outdoor thermometer to see if the local weather predictions are accurate! Of all the thermometers to choose from, he likes this one perfect for Americans – with the large numbers in Fahrenheit. This one is for Canadians, with the large numbers in Celcius.
13. Trendy Underwear
You can’t live in a house full of men and not realize that men have trendy underwear, too!! Apparently this brand is incredibly wonderful…Brace yourselves – they aren’t cheap!! (Hmm…kind of like a good bra!;))
14. Ear Buds
Ear buds are both a blessing and a curse. They are wonderful when they’re working, but seem to be so fragile. We have more than one set that only one side works! This Jaybird set was chosen by our son – who is a self proclaimed ear bud snob and has by far gone through the most pairs of ear buds ever. Of course, they are also ridiculously high priced – because of course, those are the kind he likes the most!;)
15. EOS Lip Balm
After going on a hunting trip with a group of men and getting severely chapped & sunburned lips (it’s no joke!), my husband always makes sure he has lip balm close at hand. Of all the types he’s tried, this is his absolute favorite. And, yes, it comes in the shape of an egg!
