Free Printable Moultan Barn Art

I told the story of the unexpected gift of a dream camera and lenses in podcast episode 16. (You can listen or read it here.)

In a nutshell, the camera belonged to a family relative who sadly passed away last year. I didn’t even know he was a hobby photographer until that time.

As my sister and I went through boxes of his photography equipment, we were thrilled to see dozens of SD camera cards. I had never seen any of his pictures, and I was hoping some of them would still have some his images.

We checked them one by one, and became discouraged at all the “no images found” messages…

UNTIL, we popped one in and up popped the most gorgeous landscape photos!

As I scrolled through beautiful picture after beautiful picture, I knew I wanted to do something to share his amazing landscape pictures with others.

So, today, I’m sharing 2 of his pictures – the John Moultan Barn in Jackson, Wyoming – and offering them to you as a free printable download art prints – so you can enjoy them, too.

About this Moultan Barn Art

I’ve learned that this barn is quite famous – The Moultan Barn in Jackson, Wyoming, with the Teton Mountains behind. Wikipedia says,

The barn is all that remains of the homestead built by Thomas Alma Moulton and his sons between about 1912 and 1945. It sits west of the road known as Mormon Row, in an area called Antelope Flats, between the towns of Kelly and Moose. Now lying within Grand Teton National Park, it is near the homestead of Andy Chambers. The property with the barn was one of the last parcels sold to the National Park Service by the Moulton family. Often photographed, the barn with the Teton Range in the background has become a symbol of Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Although this barn looks different to me, as I look online, it is also called a Moultan Barn on Morman Row. So maybe there are numerous ones??

I’ve purposely edited these pictures to look vintage, as I wanted them to fit in with a few other vintage photos I have featured in my bookcase.

I’ve formatted these printables so you can print them at home on your home printer on an 8.5 x 11 inch piece of paper. You can frame them to hang on a wall or set in a bookshelf. Since it is a vintage looking print, I put mine in a vintage picture frame I found at a thrift store.
