Attic Room Details

I thought I’d quickly stop in today and give the details of the Attic Music and Library Room.  I’ll answer the questions that I usually have when I see someone’s room makeover…

Wall Color ~ 1 gallon Custom mis-tint ~ Close to Benjamin Moore’s Acadia White ~ $0 {It was in my paint stash}

Floor Color ~ “Panther” by General Paint ~ $0 {It was in my paint stash, too}

Kilz Oil Base Low Odour Primer ~ Home Depot ~ $28.97

6 x 9 ft “Value Rug” ~ Home Depot ~ 39.00

2 pieces melamine shelving for blanket storage ~ Home Depot ~ $30.76

{We added stained wood trim to the fronts.}

2 brackets for closet shelf and hanging storage rod {Not installed or shown yet.}  ~ Home Depot ~ $9.98

Curtain Rod ~ Home Depot ~ $14.97

Curtains ~ sewn from painter’s drop cloth and fabric on hand.

Total Purchases…………………..$123.68

And since we bought it all at Home Depot, I cashed in my $50.00 gift card that I won from One Project Closer’s contest, making it $73.68.  Yeah!
