Come take a tour of our newly decorated small living room!

For those of you who are new here today, welcome. You picked a good day to come. I’m giving a peek into our newly decorated townhouse living room.

I’ve been on an organization mission lately to get the whole house organized in 8 weeks. This is week 3, and so far I’ve tackled:

• the entryway closet
• office supplies in the Billy Bookcase
• office supplies in drawers
• the buffet in the dining room
• and diyed a laptop end table.

Once all the “insides” of the Living & Dining Room were all organized, I wanted to freshen up the look of the outside of the space.

I borrowed decor from areas all over the house and came up with this:

I call it my BoHo look.

It’s a mix of happy colors and patterns, with the star of the show being the print I got from Minted a few months ago.

I covered the couch with cozy blankets and pillows (which sort of disguises its outdatedness…)

We removed the coffee table and added 2 lite-weight tables in its place. (I found them at our local Superstore on clearance.)

That change gave us the space to add 2 little chairs at the other end of the couch.

We’re loving the newly freshened up space ~ with lots of color and greenery.

On these gray and rainy Winter days, it’s nice to remember that Spring is just around the corner!;)
