Learning “Something New” and a Big Thanks!

Someone recently told me that it’s important to learn something new after you turn 40 (yep, I qualify).  Statistics show that if you do so, it helps prevent dementia.  Now that I’ve seen dementia up close in my family, I’m trying my best to prevent it.

Anyway, this little blogging hobby is my “learning something new” thing.  Oh…I love it so much!

On the other hand, I am a new blogger and it’s taking a little time to figure this all out!  In the course of it all, I’ve “met” so many encouraging, inspiring women who are fellow bloggers.  I have found them to be so helpful and kind when I write “Help, I’m a new blogger and I don’t know what I’m doing!”

One of the things I’ve been learning how to do is to “link up” blog posts to other blogs’ “link parties”.  I have found so many fun projects and ideas at those parties, and people also come to my blog from them as well.  They are a delight.

Today is an exciting day…Gail at My Repurposed Life  featured one of my projects (from a previous link party) on her blog!!  (If you click on the button below, it will take you to her post.)

So, Gail, thank you.  You blessed this new blogger’s heart!

P.S.  Right after I initially posted this message on my blog, I went to check my “comments” section and discovered a sweet message from Jami at the Freckled Laundry… My heart did a double flip-flop. She’s featuring my quick art project there today.  Bless her sweet little heart.  I’m humbled… Thank you.
