Colin’s Newly Painted Room

Colin’s room is painted!! (Insert happy dance here!) In case you forgot, here it was before:

 

 

 

 

 

 

The paint color we chose was not a dramatically different one, but it definitely was different!

 

(Please keep in mind these pictures do not depict accurately the true colors! I’ve spent an insane amount of time trying to figure out how to make the coloring better. So, for the sake of trying to be a good steward of my time…I’m posting them “as is”. Rest assured, the paint really does not look PINK as it does in these pictures! Yikes!!)

I can’t claim that I did all this work myself. My dear husband cut and installed the new corner-round trim by the ceiling (doesn’t it look so much more “finished”?), AND rolled on all the paint! Bless his dear heart. I developed “tennis elbow” from sanding my stairs … and it’s slowing me down a bit! So, thanks to my dear man, I was able complete this stage of the process.

Now…on to the accessorizing part ~ my favorite!!
