Blogger Inspired Spring Outfit

A few years ago, I started implementing some of my home decor tricks to my fashion choices. Remember how I told you I like to start a room makeover with inspiration pictures?

Now I do the same with clothes.

I have a few fashion bloggers that I read on a regular basis. It doesn’t take more than a few minutes a day to hop on over to their blogs and scroll through the posts.

I feel like they are doing all the work researching trends and sales, and I’m priviledged to learn about all the “latest” from them!

I tuck away pictures in my memory of outfits I really like. Like this one:

I thought it looked cute, casual, and comfy ~ just like I want my outfits to be!:)

One of the challenges about living in Canada is that we don’t have the same stores and resources that the States does as far as clothes shopping goes.

So, I’m constantly on the hunt for items similar up here.

I hit the jackpot the other day with a quick little shopping trip to Winners. I found this entire outfit there.

Although it’s far from identical, it has some of the same elements as the inspiration picture.

I was looking for a flowy floral shirt and skinny leg jeans. Check and check.

Although the shirt doesn’t have the same fun criss-cross detail as the inspiration, I really liked the crocheted elements and the tie ropes with tassels.

The shoes are surprisingly comfortable. I love how they zip in the back so I don’t need to tie them everytime.
