How to Use Free Christmas Printable Wall Art in your Home Decor

Print out the free images on your home printer.

Once you have found a free printable you’d like to use, follow the instructions given to download and print it.

For best results, I recommend printing off wall art on cardstock (which is thicker than regular printer paper) with the following supplies (affiliate links)

  • Home printer – Ours is the Canon TS5020
  • White Cardstock (which is thicker than normal printer paper)

If you’d rather, you can have it printed on cardstock through your favorite print shop.

Display your new printable art

Most often, printable art is formatted to fit in a 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 inch frame.  You could simply print and place into a frame.

However, you could also use decorative trays or barn wood slabs as backgrounds for your wall art as well.

Many printable art pieces come as sets, so they can easily be used in a gallery wall – which is a great way to fill up big, empty wall spaces in your home!

Here are some gallery wall resources that may help if you’ve never done one before:

I almost always have printables hanging up somewhere in my home. They can add a pop of color to a space, bring in seasonal decor, or help fill up a big empty wall.

I just did a little video to show you 3 ways I’m using printables in my home decor right now! You can watch it here:
