This past week I had the privilege of joining a group of bloggers for the Canadian Bloggers Spring Home Tour. (If you missed it, you can see the whole list at the bottom of this post.)

Throughout the week, I opened up my internet and took a virtual tour in 24 different homes. I was absolutely blown away with the creative and beautiful ideas that were in each one.

I was also struck with the fact that every woman’s home was totally different. No two homes were exactly alike.  Each one was a reflection of the uniqueness and personality of the people living in it.

I love that.  And, as I pondered that thought, I came across this quote from Kari-Ann from Thistlewood Farms:

So, today, I wanted to share some inspiration & ideas that I think are creative and beautiful from my Canadian blogger friends. It’s my hope that it will inspire you and give you creative ideas to add your own special touches into your home.

Don’t feel discouraged if you don’t have exactly the same supplies as see in inspiration pictures. Rather, let the pictures guide you to use items you already have, or search for something similar. In fact, they might remind you to pull out some things you forgot you had!

Style Your Coffee Table

Place a tray on your coffee table and layer it with items of different heights and textures. Stacks of books can be placed to give a short item a little height. Bouquets of Spring flowers can add a touch of bright color to a neutral space.

Layer flowers into your wall decor! Drape greenery garlands around pictures – or even tape a few right to the wall. It can add a touch of whimsy and freshness to a space.
