Making Tags ~ {Day 25}
I’ve always been a sucker for tags. {I know, you can call me strange if you’d like….} There’s just something about a good looking tag that makes a product seem more appealing and professional to me.
As I started into this craft fair journey again, I decided to make some tags to go on the items for sale. I find that customers like to be able to touch and feel and quickly find the price on things.
I need to give credit where credit is due here…Miss Mustard Seed. Yep, Marion solved my tag dilemma with her amazing tutorial found here. I followed it almost exactly. I loved it, so I just did it her way. I figured it doesn’t pay to reinvent the wheel!
I designed the writing for the tag in Photoshop,
then I put 12 on a page through the Publisher program.
Using a tag punch I got at Michael’s, I punch out the tag shapes.
After punching a small hole in the top, I use embroidery floss to tie the tags on.
All done and ready to use!
They are beautiful.
Crisp, warm, chic and thoughtfully detailed.
Tres professional 😉
Congrats!!
