Fall Entrance
I spent a blissful hour browsing in my favourite home decor store the other day. As I studied their beautiful Fall displays, one item grabbed my attention ~ a pretty red berry garland. It made me remember that my sister-in-law had given me some earlier this year. {Thanks, Lorrie!} I immediately began to plot and plan how I could build an arrangement for our entryway table around it.
Come on in and I’ll show you how it turned out~
The main sign was inspired by my sign making hero Aimee Weaver {you can see her amazing signs here}.
The frame of it is an old window, and the right side is painted to be a chalkboard. I found a great product that I love painting on for the sign itself. {I’ll try to do a tutorial for it soon.}
I fell in love with this rusty little bin of drawers in a recent junking treasure hunting escapade. The antique glass insulators (on top) were found there, too… You know, “one person’s trash is another’s treasure!”
A bag of ornamental gourds from the grocery store and an original painting ($1.00 at a thrift store!) added a few pops of color.
And, of course, I always love to add a little “sentimental” to every arrangement. This wool blanket is monogrammed with my Grandpa’s name on it. My Grandma gave it to him for Christmas one year…

Your entry is lovely and very inviting. Love the rusty file drawers. Makes me want to go to the shop and take tools out of one out there and use it in my entry. The painted window is a great idea too.
