How do you use crispy baked tortilla strip chips?
These tortilla strips are snappy, crunchy, and so delicious.
We use them in place of crackers alongside soup, but they’re also perfect for dipping right into the bowl. They make a pretty garnish that actually adds flavor and texture—not just decoration.
They’re also great:
- Served alongside salsa as a simple appetizer
- Used as a crunchy salad topping
- Sprinkled over taco salad
If you like a little heat, you can sprinkle your favorite spicy seasoning—like cayenne pepper—over the tortilla strips before baking.
What to Serve With Soup
If you’re looking for other simple sides to serve with soup, these are some of our favorites:
- Sourdough bread or dinner rolls
- Simple green salad (I love spinach salad with poppyseed dressing!)
- Cornbread or biscuits
- Sourdough chips or homemade croutons
- Grilled cheese or toasted sandwiches
These crispy baked tortilla strips fit right in with cozy soup nights and are an easy way to add something special without much extra work.
