3 Styling Products for Fine Hair

Finding the perfect hair styling products is sort of like finding the perfect shade of lipstick. Once you fall in love with it, the company discontinues it!!

Such is the case with the amazing root lifter that changed my short spunky hair’s life years ago. I hunted and hunted til’ I found the perfect combination since then. Although very thick, my hair strands themselves are very fine. If I don’t use the right products when styling it, it falls flat as a pancake about 3 seconds after I blow it dry! I’m battling a bit of humidty here by the coast as well, so if you find you’re struggling with the same issues, maybe one of my favorite products will make your hair happy, too!

Here’s what I use on a daily basis:

1.Matrix Wonder Boost Root Lifter: This replaces the Redkin Root Lifter that is no longer in production. I spray a little right at the roots on the top of the crown of my head and rub it in really good before I start blow drying.

2. Animate by Structure: I squeeze about a dime sized amount on the tips of my fingers and rub this into the rest of my wet hair (other than the crown) before blow drying. This seems to bring out a bit of the natural wave in my hair and helps it hold its shape throughout the day.

3.Tresemme Hair Spray: I’ve been using this for years. I like its hold as well as the fact it doesn’t make my hair feel stiff. (I use the extra hold #4.)
