Touches of Fall and 31 Days series
I don’t want to be one of those people who always complains about the weather. But when the wind started whipping and the sky turned gray a few days ago, I realized I was mentally unprepared for Fall. I wasn’t quite ready to say good-bye to the blue sky and sunshine.
But, “ready or not” reality was, I needed to rearrange my Living Room. Once we start heating up that woodstove in earnest (like now!), I have to get the leather lazy-boys further away from the heat.
In the rearranging process, I also like to switch out some of the accessories. (That’s the fun part!).
I took out the beach themed decor from the bookcase and switched it up for other things around the house.
Sunflowers from the garden added a splash of color…
My favourite discovery was that my end-of-the-season bargain bamboo tray ($2.98!) perfectly fits on top of the driftwood “end table”!
Although my Living Room is looking somewhat presentable, my Dining Room currently looks like this:
Yep. I’m getting ready for the 31 Days series that starts on Saturday…and it’s a bit crazy around here!

My favoritefhing is that driftwood table and tray! I love how organic it is. So, whT do you do with all the small things that you're switching out? I imagine you having neatly ordered shelves somewhere tucked away….I think you should do a post Bout how you organize your seasonal "things"….
