Fashion Over 40 – Capri Pants

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a “What I Wore Wednesday” post, but I’ve sure had fun watching what other people have been wearing this Summer!

I just spent some time doing research on the capri pants topic. I know there are quite the “rules” around them involving the perfect length and what types of shoes to wear with them. Honestly, I don’t have the rules down…

But, I am a fan of capri pants! I find they are just the perfect thing – mostly in the comfort and practicality department – for the warmer Summer months. I’m not fond of the short shorts fad (bluck!), and I just can’t handle how hot long pants are, so I have a few different pairs capri pants in my wardrobe.

Today’s outfit is a pair of denim capri pants ~ the dressier version that have stretch in them ~ with a flowy top that I found last year in a local shop.

I’m not sure if they are the ideal length, (maybe you know?) but they are comfy and cool – both are pluses in my books these days!
