How to {Not} Make Gift Card Holders ~ {Day 27}
I find that some projects end up being far more work than you originally intend it to be. This was definitely one of those!
It was so “quick and easy” in my mind…
Wrong.
Oh, so wrong.
I spent altogether too much time and mental energy working on the computer designing what ended up looking like this:

I had visions of having a lovely “free printable” for you all to use. But, alas, this template is a nightmare to use! (My measurements are slightly off…) If I had to do it all over again, I would just save some time and hand stamp them!
Seriously. I recommend cutting an 8 1/2 by 11 piece of paper into perfect fourths, fold, stamp, and be done!
But…here are some pictures of the details of mine:
I “distressed” the paper by rubbing it gently and randomly with some cocoa colored stamping ink.
Using an x-acto knife, I cut a slit in the front to accommodate a tab to keep it shut.
Feel free to take away any tips that may be helpful…and if you know a quick and easy way to make a gift card holder, I’d love to learn from you!:)
