Learn Metal Stamping with This Washer Necklace Craft
Make your own custom jewelry by learning how to do metal stamping on a washer necklace craft.
My friend Kerry-lea introduced me to washer necklaces when I was visiting her in Nebraska. In fact, I purchased the special steel letter stamps while I was there {which caused a bit of embarrassment in the airport security line…}.
I found quite a few tutorials on how to make washer necklaces.
I actually combined a few different tutorials for this look.
Stamping the washer can be found here. ( She also includes some helpful video links.)
Using alcohol inks to die the smaller washer can be found here.
Wrapping the washers with wire and seed beads can be found here.
I chose to use hemp and a bead as the “necklace” part, but using ribbon looks really nice, too.
