The Entryway Gallery Wall
My entryway and I have spent the past 6 years trying to understand each other. She’s a teeny tiny thing, but oh, so hard to figure out. It’s been a rocky road at times…
I first found her to be cold and claustrophobic.
After many tries at trying to find the perfect color for her, she seemed quite at peace in White Down by Benjamin Moore.
But, in winter time, she still seemed a little moody and grumpy, so a fresh stencilled wall treatment was applied.
That seemed to perk her right up and made such a happy feature wall. The problem was, the view walking in from the door was still lacking.
She seemed a bit, well, boring and stuck up. I knew deep down in her heart, she really didn’t want to be. She wanted to be happy and welcoming and full of life…and just a wee bit GRAND.
So out came the paints and some wood pieces {from a carpenter’s garbage bin!!}. Here she is now:
She seems, so, so much happier now!
The colors and pictures and textures and words are meant to reflect those of us who live here…
I found this project to be an absolute hoot to do…
I’ll be back next week to give a few tutorials and details.

This piece of writing presents clear idea in favor of the new viewers of blogging,
that truly how to do blogging.
Greetings! I know this is somewhat off topic but I was wondering which blog platform
are you using for this site? I’m getting fed up of
Wordpress because I’ve had problems with hackers and I’m looking at options
for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
I have been browsing online more than 3 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article like yours.
It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if all webmasters and bloggers made good content as you did, the web will be
much more useful than ever before.
It’s very simple to finԁ out any topic on net as compared
to textbooks, aѕ I founԁ this paragraph at thiѕ site.
I’m thinking of painting about 90% of the interior of my house white down? The color looks beautiful in your entryway. I want to make sure it’s comes off a creamy white vs. a yellow white… I thought I would ask you what your opinion is since you have used it in a few different spaces. Thank you!
