Gingerbread Cookies

– 2 cups flour – 1 teaspoon cinnamon – 1 teaspoon ginger – 1/8 teaspoon cloves – 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg – 1 teaspoon baking powder – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/4 teaspoon salt – 1/2 cup butter (softened to room temperature) – 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed – 1/2 cup molasses – 1 egg – 1/4 teaspoon vanilla

INGREDIENTS

Flour Bag

Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl.

STEP ONE

Mix the wet ingredients together in a seperate bowl.

STEP TWO

Add the dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix to combine.

STEP THREE

After chilling at least 3 hours, roll the dough to 1/8 inch thick. 

STEP FOUR

Bake at 350 degrees  for 8-10 minutes.

Cut out whatever shapes you'd like!

Decorate with royal icing (recipe in post).
