Moving In
We’re in our new house!!! It’s been a whirlwind of a weekend. Just 3 days ago, we met our realtor outside our new front door and walked into this:
Then, after a flurry of hauling boxes, pulling muscles, arranging, rearranging, unpacking and stacking, we’ve got one room that we can sit down in…
Other than grossly underestimating what “downsizing” really means, our move went basically according to plan.
I can’t wait to take you on a whole tour of our new place, but today I’m headed back to the old house to do the final clean. Then, I’ll settle in some more and tell you all about it.
Many thanks for the encouraging words many of you have passed along throughout this weekend. Moving is a mess, isn’t it?? Some of you remember…;)
But, now that we have all. the. things. in one place, I’m having a hoot figuring out where to put it all…

I’m so excited for you, Rita!! I’ve been thinking about you and wondering how the move was going. Setting up the living room and a dining area is such a good idea. I’m looking forward to future posts on settling in and how you’ll decorate everything.
