Fashion over 40 – Spring Color

Last Spring, I was shopping in earnest for a dress for an upcoming wedding.  As I perused the store, I noticed 3 friends shopping together.  They were laughing and chatting and reminded me so much of how fun it is to go shopping with my 2 sisters.  All of the sudden they stopped at a rack of shirts and exclaimed with such excitement over such an AMAZING find!

I had walked by the same rack 3 times and never even noticed them.  But, you can be sure when they each headed into the change room with those shirts to try on, I grabbed one, too!

It ended up in the bag with my new dress that day.:)

Although it was something I would have never thought to try on before, it has become one of my favorite Spring and summer shirts.  Although it’s still quite chilly here, I was anxious to add a little color to my wardrobe.  So, out it came…

Pretty soon, I’ll be able to roll up those pants a little more and add flip flops for an even more “Springy” look!

But, until then…I need to find my sweater!;)
