Painting Day ~ Sparrow Sign
This past Saturday I hung out at my kitchen table with wood and paint. No cooking. No cleaning…. My dear husband just brought me coffee every now and then, and I just kept on painting. So. Much. Fun!
At the end of the day, it was a relief to see a lot of projects finished that had been percolating in my mind for so long.
I was tempted to just put up all the pictures right away…but that takes all the suspense away, doesn’t it? So…how bout’ one for today. I promise I’ll show all the others later.
Here’s the first one… I call it the “Sparrow Sign”…
The font is “elephant” and the bird shape is a rubber stamp shape that I enlarged on my photocopier 300%.

Rita – you've inspired me to begin to paint wood. You would have laughed to see me behind our local hardware store, up on their scrap wood pile scavenging for some nice pieces.
