Small laundry rooms aren’t all that unusual.
I can say that with mild authority as I have now researched “small laundry rooms” extensively on Pinterest!;)
My sudden curiousity over this came as a result of my beloved (and favorite!) washing machine dieing at the beginning of the year. I figured as long as I was going to have to invest in a new machine, I might as well try to make the laundry room space look as nice as possible, too. (One thing always leads to another.)
I hadn’t spent much time planning a laundry space, so I decided to learn from others who had. Here’s what I discovered: Even though a laundry room space might be small, it can have big style and function.
Let me show you.
This small space incorporates beautiful finishes. I love those subway tiles, granite countertop, and stainless shelves. The storage containers are not only pretty, but highly functional, too!
Although this laundry space is in the garage, it is neat and organized with cupboards above, hangers below, and cute accessories!
This basement laundry room space is rather large, I really love the industrial feel of it ~ especially those pipe shelves and hanging bar.
I love the contrast of the dark wall against the while appliances & accessories. Mixed with the warm wood tone of the shelves, I think it’s the perfect combination!
I love, love, love the bright and happy space of pretty wallpaper, striped floor and rolled towels in baskets. So cute!!
Those cupboards above and the cute shelves with baskets underneath seem like a perfect organizational solution.
I’ll be back soon to show you what our new & improved laundry space looks like now. To give you a little preview, here’s what it looked like not long ago…
