Transition Outfit

The weather these days is unpredictable. One day it’s hot as blazes and the next is rainy and cool.

I realized it was time to get creative with some transitional outfits ~ the weather being the main factor : A little Summer + a little Autumn = the need for a warmer yet not too warm outfit!

The other factor for me is this: My FitnessPal app is working and I’ve started to lose some weight! (Yippee Skippee Do!) I’m scared to admit that out loud for fear I might gain everything I’ve lost overnight…but here’s hoping it will stay off.

I have a goal in mind for when I’m going to allow myself to shop for some smaller clothes (my own little reward;)), but until then, I’ve decided to work with what’s already in my closet.

This outfit I bought this past Spring. I wore the shirt untucked then and quite enjoyed it. Now, however it seems a little large and frumpy that way. So, I left the last 3 buttons undone and tied a knot at the bottom.

I feel a little Daisy Duke in this style…

and when I add denim jacket and fun purse, I’m ready to slide through my car window, jump some ditches and catch the bad guys and head to town for errands!;)

(If you’re too young to understand what I’m talking about, you should find some old Dukes of Hazzard reruns to laugh at.)
