When the Projects Become Just Too Much

I spent the day in town today.  The main purpose was to take my hair to Disneyland.  I’ve also been working very hard organizing and sorting and purging, so I had my car full of bags for the thrift store.

After having a delightful lunch and coffee time visit with a friend, I realized that I could catch the next ferry if I hurried.  I made it just in time, and enjoyed seeing a few patches of blue sky during the short ride.

As I toodled down the road a few minutes away from home, I realized in all the errands I ran today, I completely forgot to drop off all the stuff at the thrift store!  Oh, bother…

Some days are just like that.

By nature, I’m a finisher.  When I committed to the 31 Days series, I was determined that I could and would do this.

But, there comes a point when I need to step back and face reality.  Although I have been working on a whole bunch of projects and just downloaded 91 pictures of said projects, I’m just not going to have time to blog about them in the next few days.  So, for the few people who actually stop by here each day (thank you, dear ones!), I’m sorry to let you down, but I’m not going to be able to finish up with posts in the next few days.  I want to take the time to do them well, instead of throwing them together at break neck speed!

I will, however, be back later to show you lots of things.

I’ve been focusing on the Closet Project.   Of course it spiralled into many other projects that turned the house on end…  However, It’s mighty close to being done and I just can’t wait to show you!  I bought myself a can of gold spray paint, and  went a little crazy…

So, thank you for joining me on this little 31 Days of Projects journey.  I’m so glad you stopped by.  You’re welcome to visit anytime!

{Here’s a little sneak peek of what’s to come:}

hello gorgeous sign ps

Now, you’ll have to excuse me.  I have a kazillion bags to unload from the van…

  1. Rita,
    As women we place a lot of expectations upon ourselves and we need more hours in our day. No need to apologize, I love your blog and your voice in writing! I can’t wait to see the new projects over the weeks to come.
