Oh, For the Love of Pleats!

Today, I want to introduce you to two awesome blogs.  One I’ve been reading on a regular basis for a long time, and the other, I just recently discovered!

She’s a graphic designer that seems to do it all.  She’s a darling little thing with beautiful long hair, cutie patutie kids, a gorgeous home, and abounding talent.  I would perhaps want to be jealous of her, but her sweet, sweet spirit comes out in her writing, and even though we’ve never met or even “spoken” online, I just love her.

I dream of one-day taking her blog design course.

She did a special series a few years ago called “flower week”.

Each day she taught a different tutorial on how to make flowers.  Some were paper, some were fabric.  I’ve referred back to it numerous times.

Now, she has done a new series all about pleats!  Pleated Project Week, it is!

The first day’s project was all about pretty paper medallions…

It has me inspired to want to hang pretty paper pleats all over my house!!

The other blogger I recently discovered was Lindsey from the Pleated Poppy.  She popped up when I was doing a search for ideas for my recent messenger bag project.
