The Wednesday Web Roundup

Many thanks for the kind comments and caring phone calls after yesterday’s post.  I think I’m feeling a little better today?? {At least I keep telling myself that…}

I thought that in the absence of any new and exciting projects around my own house, I would instead show you a round up of some recent discoveries of mine here on the web.  They’re blogs and projects that make me go, “Wow!, This is so neat!”  I tried and tried to think of a clever name to call it…

This house tour on FindingHomeOnline is just gorgeous.  I  love how Laura mixes warm woods and white accessories; vintage and modern to make her home so warm and inviting.

 

As a “40 something wife and mother” myself, I was delighted to discover Cyndi from Walking in Grace and Beauty .  Her blog is full of fashion and beauty tips for us “middle-agers”.  She puts together some really cute outfits, and I absolutely love her hair…  If she were my neighbor, I’d want her to be my personal stylist.

Shaunna from Perfectly Imperfect is giving away the cutest printable note cards!  I’m a sucker for anything that involves cute paper… {Be careful to watch your printer settings, though.  I printed one out yesterday and it turned out HUGE!!}

Ashley and Jamin just announced today that their beautiful e-book “Handmade Walls” in on sale for only $7.50.  I’ve had my eye on it and wanted it since the day it came out.  So, I just bought it, and it is beautiful.  Now, I’d like to somehow print it out.  I really love to have books that I can hold in my hand…

And finally… If I were to go on a road trip anywhere near Rockford, Illinois, this is where I’d want to stop/shop:
