Sometimes when we’re working on rooms around here, we spend a lot of time plotting and planning. {Like our bathroom~ which we haven’t even started yet.}
Other times we just go for it.
This time, we opted for the latter route.
Once our son gave us the go ahead to do “whatever we wanted with the room” my husband and I sat down and figured out what we actually wanted to use the room for. We had hardly walked into that room in the 6 months that Brad had been gone. What a shame. So, we came up with a plan.
And I hopped over to Pinterest for some inspiration ideas. Here’s what caught my eye.

Although MUCH bigger than the space I’m working in, I love the crisp white with the splashes of blue and soft wood color.
Once we got started on the project, I didn’t refer back to these pictures. But, now I see that there is a little bit of each picture in the new room. I didn’t do that intentionally.
It just sort of happened.
