It All Started with a Sign…

I  find it amazing how the ripple affect works.  It spins a line “sequences”  ~ none of which are predictable, necessarily.  Take this, for instance.

Last October I posted an article about this sign:

and wrote a little tutorial on how I made it.

Little did I expect the “pinning” frenzy it would cause here

Those little pins started a small stream of e-mails asking if I would perhaps sell the the “Little Blue Bird” signs online… (Who woulda’ thought?)

Now, I have quite a few ladies waiting very patiently for their own little bird signs.

So…I, put together a crafting space in my basement last month,

so that I would have room to paint and create.  The brushes and paint have been flying the past few days.  {And I’m planning on doing some more.}

Now that I actually had some signs ready to sell and ship, I realized I needed to come up with the simplest way to sell online (that I could comprehend)! ( Those of you who follow me on Facebook already know this…)

{With a little fear and trepidation mixed with a lot of excitement…} I signed up for my own little shop in the Etsy world!

  Don’t rush there yet.  I’m not quite open for business…!

Now I’m at the “take photos of your products” stage.  It led to this:

{Whooowee!  I’m tired…}

And, yep, the “little Blue Bird” has a new yellow friend…

I’m working hard to get the shop organized and running soon.  Thanks for your patience, ladies, as you wait for your signs!

Right now I’m on my way to help my friend with some more organizing.
