Craft Fair Display

As I peruse various blogs these days, I see a whole gamete of “market” venues.  Some markets have tents, some have booths, and some are held in beautiful old barns or historical houses.  The ones I’m headed to are very simple.  As in…  I have an 8 foot table.  The end.:)

The challenge is to make that 8 foot table look great and inviting.  So, a few days ago I set up my things on our dining room table to practice.  I’m strange that way.  I have to plot and plan and move and scootch…  Here’s what it ended up like:

It’s a bit of a challenge to get it to look interesting, yet not too cluttered.

I put an old bookcase on its side so that things could be placed at different levels.

An upside-down basket, a chair without legs, and Grandma’s old suitcase also helped to put items at different heights.  {The chandelier, however, stays in the Dining Room!}

Today is the day.  All of this stuff is ready to be packed into the van for the first craft fair down the road.

…And last night it snowed!  Hmm…this should be interesting!
