Crafts in My Kitchen- {Day 8}

Now that we’ve spent a week working on Driftwood projects, I thought it was perhaps time to take a break from “wood”. For those of you who’ve been following my blog from the start (blessings to you!), the content of today’s post won’t be new to you. But, for the rest of you, I thought maybe you’d like to see some crafts that I’ve used in my own home decor. Come on in and I’ll give you a quick little tour of the kitchen…

The saying goes that “creativity is born out of sheer necessity” {or something like that, anyway!}. I have definitely found that in my own experience. As I work on making our home feel like “us”, I run into situations where I “need” something.

If I had an unlimited budget, I’m sure it would be easy to just hop to a store or an internet site and buy something up. However, that isn’t reality for me… And in working within that reality, I’ve discovered a few things…

1. I’m very sentimental. Things of my Grandmas’, Mom’s, Dad’s, etc.… are very special to me.

2. I like to use what I have, thus my decor motto… “Use what you have and love what you use!”

Here are a few projects that I’ve featured in the past. You can click on the links to find the original post with more details.

As you look around at things you already have, you’ll be surprised how creative you can get if you want to incorporate them into your every day decor.

As I work in my kitchen each day, the “sentimental” decor brings back so many great memories. It makes it feel like…
